Home Description:
We have a very comfortable home with Early American authentic
antique furnishings inherited from our families. We have neighbors
but the houses are well spaced and our four wooded acres provides
much privacy. We are situated 10 minutes from a major highway
for easy travel by car (takes about 30 minutes to airport and
2 hours from Washington DC).
The Area:
Visit Revolutionary AND Civil War sites located near the the Capitol
of the Confederarcy. We are in the center of one of the most historic
areas of the USA. American historic sites (.5 TO 2.0 HOURS depending
on your interests), Williamsburg Historic Area is only 1.5 hours
away. Beautiful beach (2.0 hour drive), the mountains (1.0 hour),
and 10 minutes from a beautiful state park with fishing, hiking,
canoeing,and swimming. Numerous churches within a 10 minute drive.
Other Particulars:
Like to exchange automobile as well as house. Our home offers
privacy, fine antique furnishings, outdoor grill, VCR, fireplace,
dishwasher, laundry room, carpeted floors. No smoking and no indoor
pets (we have an outdoor Australian Shepard who loves everyone).

Who We Are:
Harry and Elaine have been married for 23 years and have three
teenagers (Mary-20 will be in college this spring in Cheltenham,
England, Anna-18, Hunter-17). We have been blessed to use our
home for a Bible study for teenagers on Friday nights for the
past year and a half (around 75 kids per week). Don't worry we
will cancel the meeting the week you are here!
