Te Puke (Tauranga): We have a three bedroom modern cottage on three acres of land, 80 trees growing Macadamia nuts. Our land is set amongst kiwifruit orchards.

Home Description:
Open living downstairs - lounge/kitchen, french doors opening onto sunny patio surrounded by rose bushes - and Olive trees in pots. Kitchen has modern equipment, dishwasher, fridge, stove etc. Lounge is warm and comfortable looking out onto wooded country. Separate dining room and facilities downstairs. Three bedrooms upstairs - open beamed ceilings, dorma windows all with rural views. Use of computer and office facilities. Large separate double garage - studio living upstairs - second bathroom downstairs. Beautiful setting amongst trees and orchards, only a short walk from town.

The Area:
Te Puke is a small town set in the Bay of Plenty (summer temps a balmy 25 degrees - winter average 6 degrees), 20 minutes from beautiful unspoiled beaches. 25 minutes drive to Tauranga - a tourist haven for boat and yacht lovers. Many restaurants, sports venues, beauty spots and artistic attractions to visit. Te Puke as the "Kiwifruit Capitol of the World" has it's own tourist industry, revolving around kiwifruit. Te Puke has nine Churches of differing denominations, all very active. We are a 30 minutes drive from Rotorua - a thermal pool tourist area and Maori cultural centre. A world renowned tourist area - lakes, volcanic hot springs, major fishing industry, and many natural parks and lakeland sightseeing areas to visit. Further south of New Zealand - there are ski fields and Fiordland - national parks of immense beauty to be found nowhere else in the world.
