Greenacres: Townhouse in wonderful community
Home Description:
Townhome located in a family community. Guest room (w/ full-sized
bed), computer and full bathroom are downstairs. Living room,
kitchen, dining room with TV, VCR & DVD player. No cable TV
though, but a large selection of movies and we pick up the big
5 TV networks as well as PBS. Community has a large pool, tennis
courts, racquetball courts, basketball, and 2 playgrounds. One
of the upstairs bedrooms (with it's own bathroom) is also available
if needed. Has a daybed with an extra bed in the trundle. We have
three indoor cats. Neighbor would care for them if needed.
The Area:
A few minutes from world-famous Palm Beach, where you can spot
celebrities, visit museums, window-shop on Worth Avenue, drool
over the magnificent mansions or just relax on the beach. Also
several great spots in the city of West Palm - Clematis Street,
City Place (plenty of nightlife, shopping, and just scenic strolling
in these two hot spots). Also, about one hour from Miami.
Other Particulars:
Possible auto exchange, 1 adult and 1 youth bicycle available
for use. Nice courtyard for relaxing or outdoor dining. No smoking
inside house - daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and cannot tolerate
the chemical residue.
Our Preferred Destination:
Ireland, France, Canada, Alaska, US West Coast.
Dates of Exchange:
Possibilities are any 1 to 2 week period.
Who We Are:
We are: Andrea with husband Mark and 11 year old daughter, Christina.
I am a graduate student in Counseling Psychology and a home-school
mother. My husband works for Home Depot and runs his own business
part-time doing maintenance and wiring. Christina is an avid soccer
player, loves computer, art and not having to get up at 5AM for
school!
