Savage Cove: Old Restored Victoria style house
Home Description:
This is an old house I grew up in in a very small village in northern
Newfoundland. An hours drive south of the historical site of Lance
Au Meadows and the world famous Dr.Grenfell's Mission based from
St. Anthony. The house has all amenities, such as full bath and
shower, four bedrooms upstairs. Main floor has the bathroom, living
room, dining/sitting room and porch. Washer and dryer in the porch.
Own private driveway and the house is called "Grammys House".
The Area:
There are restuarants within walking distance and the town of
Flowers Cove a mile away has more restuarants, a bakery, gas,
church. All the little villages close by have all the main needs,
such as postal service, churches, stores and small restuarants.
Fishing is the main employment here so it will be easy to find
fresh fish since my brother owns the fish plant close to the house.
Savage Cove has a population of approx. 400.
Other Particulars:
The house has a VCR combo TV, electric fireplace, telephone, washer/dryer.
Our Preferred Destination:
Anyone interested please e-mail me. I could be interested. My
schedule is hectic so I cannot plan far ahead. However, if you
are interested you can contact me. We may be able to make arrangements
for you since this is just our holiday home. We don't live there
full time. You might just need it when we're not using it.
Dates of Exchange:
As I have stated, I don't have a definite time scheduled, so you
would have to contact me if interested. The house is always heated
and ready to use.
Who We Are:
My husband Gordon and I live in St.John's, Newfoundland, Canada. We
have our own trucking business here. We have two grown kids. Our
daughter being the oldest is married and has three kids. Our son
is single and working in Brampton, Ontario. I was born and lived
my teen years in Savage Cove and Gordon my husband was born and
lived his teen years in Norris Point, Bonne Bay, Newfoundland.
From highschool we both left home and travelled to different places
in Canada for work. We've been living here in St John's for the
past twenty years, so we call this home.
