Escondido (San Diego): Large Two Story Home with Pool, on 1 and 1/2 acres near San Diego
Home Description:
4 bdr., 3 bath, two-story home, on 1 l/2 acres in Escondido. We
are located high on a hill with a gated front and back yard including
a pool and jacuzzi. The home includes a large modern kitchen,
kitchen nook , formal dining room and living room, as well as
a large family room. It is furnished with the usual T.V., V.C.R.,
dishwasher, microwave, and central heating plus a/c. Three bedrooms
including the master bedroom are upstairs and one is downstairs.
There are three queen-sized beds and one single bed available.
A granny flat above our 3 car garage would not be included in
the exchange. Our large yard includes a pool and jacuzzi, large
patio, and beautiful views from both front and back yards.
The Area:
Escondido is a city 30 miles northeast of San Diego. Our home
is just outside city limits, 5 minutes away from a large shopping
mall and city park. The park includes trails as well as a sports
center with skate park. The San Diego Wild Animal Park is a ten
minute drive away, the beach is 30 minutes to the west, and San
Diego with its many attractions is a 35-40 minute drive to the
south. Our large friendly church is about 5 min. away if you care
to visit there.
Other Particulars:
Particulars include the possibility of an automobile exchange,
specifically a 2000 Nissan Sentra, and a 93 Nissan Quest. We have
bicycles and a wide variety of other sports equipment. Our two
friendly dogs stay outside only, and sleep in the garage at night.
My
parents live in the granny flat and summer in northern California.
They would be willing to stay and take care of the dogs if preferred
by our exchange partner. The granny flat has a separate entrance
and is located over the garage which is connected to the house
by a breezeway. Sorry, smoking would not be allowed.
Our Preferred Destination:
Our preferred destination for the latter half of June, is the
greater Washington D.C. area. At later dates we would be interested
in the Northwest of the US, and Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria,
or almost anywhere.
Dates of Exchange:
Any approximately two week period between June 8 and the end of
June. After that, school vacation periods of the following year.

Debby: Registered Nurse working for Childrens Hospital part time
in School Health.
Krissa: College Student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Robert: College Student at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Benjamin: 10th. grader. Loves Sports.
