Home Description:
Our house is comfortable, attractively decorated and with good
location in peaceful, next to the nature neighbourhood.
The Area:
In Hollola we have all the best that Finland offers to visitors!
Large forests with excellent facilities to wander, clean lakes,
interesting historical sites and good possibilities to do sports.
Distances: shopping, bank, post office, tennis, swimming, fishing
(1 km), riding, golf, little harbour, boat renting (5 km). City
of Lahti, the stage of World Championships of skiing 2001 is 10
km away from our house. Lahti is located by the lake Vesijarvi
and has good shopping possibilities, many music and art festivals
along the summer. To Helsinki, capital of Finland, is one hour
drive.
Other Particulars:
Sauna!, big and peaceful backyard, gas barbeque, 2 fireplaces,
5 bicycles, computer, Play Station, video available. We could
even arrange a car exchange. Non-smoking, no pets please!
Dates of Exchange:
2-4 weeks in June or July.
Who We Are:
We are a happy Christian family with three kids. Satu is teaching in a kindergarten and Tapani is an engineer. We have three children. Teresa is crazy with horses, Andreas plays ice-hockey and Daniel loves swimming. We attend the local Assemblies of God church and have been involved in missions. We´ve been travelling a lot and have also good experience of changing homes.
