Home Description:
10 yr old three bed two bath rambler with 10' ceilings giving
a very open and spacious feeling. The back yard has an English
garden setting with two patios. There are lots of windows which
means that the interior is very bright and the view of the gardens
is great. Sherry is a great decorator and all of the furnishings
are beautiful but comfortable to use. The dining room is off the
living room and the table seats 14. The kitchen has all the modern
appliances. Master bedroom has two sink bathroom and separate
shower with lots water pressure.
The Area:
We live 2 miles off of I-5, 16 miles north of Seattle and depending
when you go there it can take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes to
drive. We live 10 mins from Edmonds, a quaint town on the sound
and 20 minutes from Snohomish, an historic town with lots of big
old restored houses and wonderful antique stores. The Whidbey
Island ferry out of Mukilteo, 15 minutes away, is a short 15 min
ferry ride. The Olympic peninsula with Port Townsend and many
other historic towns are easily within a day-trip distance. Of
course there is the mountains, both the Cascades, including Mt.
Rainier and the Olympics. There is a long bicycle trail to Lake
Sammamish along the northern shore of Lake Washington.
Other Particulars:
There are two TV's with VCRs in the bedrooms, a fireplace and
two patios on which to sit and rest and read. A car may be available.
It is a non-smoking house. We do have a dog but of course he would
be staying elsewhere so you wouldn't have to take care of him.

Who We Are:
Sherry and I, Hughes, pastor a Foursquare church in Lynnwood.
We love our gardens, our family and grandchildren, who all live
close to us. We have travelled a lot, including South Korea and
Europe. We have lived many places in the US and have friends all
over the states. We love to entertain and do it often. I am 58
years old and we are beginning to plan to travel and maybe do
assisting missionary work starting in my late 60's. Sherry loves
to cook and decorate and has quite a reputation all over the US.
Our beautiful home reflects her love of doing things with excellence
and good taste. I have an MBA and have taught international trade
in South Korea. I was in the NAVY for 6 years and flew off of
the Kitty Hawk in Vietnam and the JFK in the Med. as an NFO in
the EKA3B.
