Home Description:
The outstanding feature of our condo is the panaromic view, overlooking
the lake, marina and city. 1340 sq.ft. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms,
a den, living/dining room, well equipped kitchen, in-suite laundry.
Decorated in light, peaceful colours - very comfortable. Air conditioning,
electric heat, gas fireplace. Also a balcony with comfortable
furniture.
The Area:
Condo is 2 minutes walk from downtown shops,r estaurants, beauty
salons etc. Easy access by car to larger shopping centres. Lots
of lake activity - walking/cycling paths, boating activities,
including Paddlewheel cruise boat, swimming (lifeguards on duty)
& sandy beaches. Tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, golf
courses within short drive. Farmer's market Sats. Toronto, Niagara
Falls, National Parks within reasonable driving distance.
Other Particulars:
Willing to exchange vehicles (2000 Ford Windstar). Also available
- 2 bicycles, 2 sets of golf clubs and pull carts. 2 TVs, 2 VCRs,
computer (tempermental!) keyboard, books all available for your
enjoyment. We would request that exchange candidates be non-smokers
and teatotallers. We would also request no pets in the condo.
Our Preferred Destination:
New Zealand - prefer North Island.
England - prefer southern England.
U.S. - the Florida Panhandle.
Canada - British Columbia, the Eastern Provinces of Canada,
Manitoba - Winnipeg.
Dates of Exchange:
Open - any time of year.
Prefer to exchange for 1 month block, or 6 weeks if exchange is
with New Zealand folks.
Who We Are:
George is a part-time Pastor and Maureen a retired school teacher.
Both of us are quite involved in Church activities, but find time
to also enjoy travelling, walking, golf, cooking & entertaining,
classical music concerts in Barrie & Toronto, live theatre
especially at Niagara-on-the-Lake (near Niagara Falls), the Shaw
Festival and at Stratford - Shakespearean plays. Really enjoy
visiting our combined families - 4 children, 8 grandchildren &
1 great grandchild.
