Home Description:
Our 12 month old home is situated in a very friendly neighbourhood,
in a quiet cul-de-sac on about 1 acre of land. We have ducted
reverse-cycle airconditioning throughout the house. The large
kitchen has all modern appliances including a dishwasher. The
cottage style garden is easy to care for (a watering system looks
after most of it) and the sunny patio area is a delightful spot
for breakfasts that roll into lunch!
The Area:
Aldgate is nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills which are one
of South Australia's tourist attractions and only 20 minutes from
the City of Adelaide. The region is famous as one of Australia's
best wine growing regions and beaches and nature walks are both
very close by - which during summer (Dec - Feb) is a real treat
as the sun doesn't set until 9pm, so you can wander or paddle
until late. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Adelaide
is the gateway to Australia's outback - Ayers Rock and The Flinders
Ranges - and with a population of just under 1 million is Australia's
smallest mainland capital city. We have just hosted the World
Series Cricket and are currently hosting the 'Tour Down-Under'
cycle race. We watched the whizz through our village this morning!

A car is available; we also have 5 good bikes. There is a computer,
VCR, DVD, stereo sound system, patio, golf clubs, bar-be-ques
(gas grill and a webber).

Our family consists of Chris, Belinda, Nicole (15) and Tim (9).

for 10 years and we are now able to take extended holidays.
