Naples: Home on a lake
Home Description:
Our home is a two 9 year old, two story that sits on a 50 acre
lake. The view from the back of the house is gorgeous. The lake
is stocked with wide mouth bass and many different types of birds
and turtles make their home there. Susan is an interior designer
so she practices her craft on her home, making it comfortable
and beautiful. There are four bedroom on the top floor. The
master suite has a large bath with a shower and jacuzzi. The
other three bedrooms each sleep 1-2 people. There is another
bath in the upstairs that services the three other bedrooms.
The views from the bedrooms are beautiful. The downstairs has
a large eat-in kitchen that has a seating area with beautiful
daybed where one can read and enjoy themselves. On one side of
the kitchen is a 25 x 15 ft. family room that is very inviting.
On the other side of the kitchen is a great room that is also
very large where one can spend time reading, watching T.V. or
just enjoying the view.!
The back has a large screened in lanai area where one can sit in the sun or go into the gazebo white listening to the sound of a garden fountain.
The Area:
The development where our home is situated has a club house that
features a billiard table, exercise room, kitchen and rest rooms
with a large resort-style pool looking out on the lake. We are
five minutes away from the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The
Tiburon Golf Resort and Spa (owned by the Ritz Carlton) is two
minutes away.There are many upscale and affordable restaurants
near our home. There are dinner theaters, movie theaters, all
types of things to see and do. We are also 1 and 1/2 hours from
Miami and Fort Lauderdale and 3 hours from Orlando and all the
sights there.
Other Particulars:
We have computers available with high speed internet access.
We will be driving to the exchange most likely so there will be
only one vehicle available. Our policies on pet are that we would
accept them providing their owners pick up their waste as required
by our home owners association. We have two small dogs and would
like to bring them with us but if that is not acceptable, it will
not be a problem to kennel them. We are very strongly a no-smoking
family and we would need the same type of home to exchange. We
have VCR's and DVD players.
Our Preferred Destination:
We are open to most destinations in the United States but we prefer
someplace that we could drive to in 1-2 days as we have three
children (12, 14, and 16) and air fare can be very expensive at
certain times of the year. We are also interested in traveling
to England and Ireland
Dates of Exchange:
Thanksgiving Vacation and anytime from June 1st to August 15th.
Who We Are:
We are a family of five. Susan is a stay-at-home mom and Scott
owns his own business in the transportation industry. Our children
are older and
very responsible and well behaved. We very much enjoy traveling
together as a family. We have strong religious beliefs and moral
foundations. We and our children are very respectful of others
and the property of others. We would like to find other families
to share homes with.
