Home Description:
Our home is a family delight to everyone who visits! It has elegantly
styled cathedral ceilings tailored in fine wood. The elegant living
and dining areas (comfortably seating 8) open onto a fully furnished
pool/patio area which is beautifully screened in and surrounded
by lush landscaping, perfect for barbecque and smimming. The kitchen
is user friendly -- equipped with double door, large capacity
refrigerator, large microwave, and stove/oven. Everyone loves
the breakfast stools! Both family rooms are furnished cheerfully
and comfortably with televisions (one is a giant-screen/VCR/DVD
and internet-linked computers. The extra-large size master bedroom
has a king-size bed and provides a romantic ambience, along with
a spacious bathroom with large standing shower and double sinks.
The other three bedroooms provide sleeping accomodations for
2 people per room and are nicely decorated. New clothes washer
and dryer are large capacity.
The Area:
The home is located in the prestigous Calusa Club Estates Golf
Community. Golf, soccer fields, basketball courts, playgrounds,
and Christian churches are all within a 5 minute drive. Roller
skating, ice-skating, and bowling arenas are all 5 mintues away!
We are centrally located 10 minutes away from world famous Dadeland
Mall and 25 minutes away from Downtown Miami where Bayside and
the Port of Miami can be used. Beautiful Key Biscayne beach is
only 30 minutes away. Day trips to Parrot Jungle, Miami Seaquarium,
Monkey Jungles, Miami MetroZoo are all close-by (less than 35
minutes drive). Enjoy other major cities for a day: Fort Lauderdale
is only 45 minutes away, West Palm Beach is 2 hours away, Marco
Island is a 2 hour drive. Want a quick trip to Orlando to see
Mickey Mouse? It's only a 4 hour drive.
Other Particulars:
We would be happy to exchange our 2000 Toyota Forerunner so that
you can enjoy Miami and surrounding areas. Bikes are also available
for your pleasure: 2 adult bikes and 3 teen bikes, as well as
a scooter. No smoking, please.

Who We Are:
My name is Gloria. I own my own business (an agency which coordinates
supports and services for people with developmental disabilities)
so my schedule remains open and flexible. I have 4 wonderful
children who are quiet and fun-loving. We are born-again Christians
who love the Lord and active members of Wayside Baptist Church
in Miami. We really enjoy traveling. My mother also usually
travels with us, when possible. (My father is a pastor of a Christian
church in the Miami area.)
