Longmont: Comfortable Bi-level home, large shaded lot at the foot of the majestic Rocky Mountains, and 35 miles north of Denver
Home Description:
Our home is a 4 bedroom bi-level on a lovely, quiet shaded lot.
We have an open plan living/kitchen/dining area, and also 2 offices
(2 of the bedrooms) with computers, and on the lower level a family
room with space for extra sleeping. Off the kitchen is a wonderful,
relaxing deck.
The Area:
The mountains are near by, and we are within an hour of Estes
Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, lots of hiking, camping
and a number of ski slopes are 1-2 hours away. There are dozens
of golf courses with in driving distance, a zoo, Natural History
Museum, 7 Flags Amusement Park and Art Museum in Denver, only
35 miles away. We are within 3/4 mile of grocery stores, a number
of restaurants, and a KMart.
Other Particulars:
We have a Nissan Van, and Toyota
Corolla, both automatic, and which would be available. Our home
has the usual appliances, washer, dryer, VCR and computer for
your use. We would prefer non smokers and no pets. Children
are welcome, but the home is not "child proof", just
comfortable. We do have grandchildren, so the toys abound.
Our Preferred Destination:
Open-We are wanting to see as much of the world as possible
Dates of Exchange:
Vacations are limited to 3-4 weeks at present.
Who We Are:
We are Jim and Eileen, a couple in our 50's who raised 4 children,
and now are free to see the world. Eileen works as a Hospice
nurse in Denver, which limits the time off to the 3-4 weeks at
a time. Jim owns a business with our son, and is building a 4
place airplane in a spare garage behind our home. We have 5 grandchildren
and family is a priority for us. We are active in a small, growing
church, which our daughter and family also attend.
