Home Description:
Our home has: ground floor - one double bedroom with ensuite, large family room/kitchen, laundry, powder room, small lounge. Upstairs - one single bedroom, study, one double bedroom, bathroom, balcony. There is a piano, internet access, small front and rear garden, double garage. Nice outlook (gum trees with lots of native birds).
The Area:
We live in a quiet neighbourhood within 15 min. drive of both Perth and Fremantle. 20 min. drive to beaches. Huge shopping complex 5 mins. walk, with library and cinemas, and beautiful large natural park (3 mins. walk). Lots of cafes & restaurants 10 mins. walk. Friendly neighbours. Easy access to public transport. Lots to see and do. 3-4 hour drive south takes you into the Margaret River area with its beautiful vineyards, arts & crafts, caves, beaches, forests & gourmet restaurants.
Other Particulars:
We are involved in a local Baptist church. There are several churches in the area. Our car is a Honda Accord, 2003, which can also be exchanged if required. We are a non-smoking household. No pets. No small children. Our son can be contacted if any help/info is required. He lives about 15 mins. away.

England, South of London pref. Surrey, Kent, Sussex

Approx. 6 week period around Aug-October 2005
Who We Are:
Steve is a retired engineer, and Lily works part time as a medical receptionist. We are new to home exchange. Our younger daughter (23) would be with us for part of the stay, and we hope to have a short visit from sister & husband in Scotland. We are careful, clean and conscientious!
