Moncton: 3/4 bedroom bungalow in quiet neighbourhood with large back yard


Home Description:
Our home has all conveniences - dishwasher, washer and dryer, computer, TV, VCR, DVD, barbecue, etc. We have three bedrooms on the main floor with one bath, two bedrooms with double beds and one with twin bed . The main floor also has a livingroom with hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen and a den off the kitchen. Downstairs has a large recreation room, with wood stove (warm in winter, cool in summer), a large bedroom with ensuite and a work room. There is an attached garage and a large back yard. Our furnishings and decor are ordinary but clean and comfortable. We are non smokers and prefer no pets.

The Area:
We live in a quiet neighbourhood in the east side of Moncton which is the Hub of the Maritimes. There are many tourist attractions within 1 hour's drive of our home - 30 minutes away is Parlee Beach which attracts many visitors each summer and has the warmest salt water north of the Carolinas.The Rocks are 30 min. south of our home - the high tides of the Bay of Fundy have carved spectacular rock formations, Fundy National Park is 1 hour away . It is nature at it's best with 80 square miles of rocky coastline, wildlife, hiking trails, fishing, etc. Cape Enrage has a very picturesque scene from a lighthouse, rapelling down steep cliffs, and sea kayaking.Within the city of Moncton we have Magnetic Hill, Tidal Bore, Magic Mountain Water Theme Park, Zoo, and Crystal Palace Amusement Park We also have a new YMCA with an Olympic size pool, several ice skating surfaces, ski lifts within an 1 to 11/2 hrs. driving, an abundance of churches and other cultural activities to choose from. Moncton has an active French speaking Acadian population, and Le Pays de la Sagoine, 45 min from Moncton is a must see -Experience the joie de vivre of the Acadian culture.. Stay in Moncton, cross the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island, and travel to Nova Scotia and the state of Maine.

Other Particulars:
Our home is a non-smoking environment and we would expect our guests to respect this. Children are welcome in our home. All appliances and entertainment facilities are available for use.

Our Preferred Destination:
Phoenix and area, AZ in 2006 (end of Feb. -second week in March). We have a family reunion planned for that time. Otherwise open to warmer climate areas in winter or any destination at other times of year. Does not need to be a simultaneous visit.

Who We Are:
Dave is a buyer for the City of Moncton and Jane is a homemaker and casual nurse. Both are looking forward to retirement in a year and a half.
