We live minutes from the river that divides Portland from Vancouver. 2 parks provide river access with sandy beaches. We are 15 minutes from downtown Portland. There are summer riverfront music festivals, riverboat cruises, and restaurants available. Vancouver has one of the largest fireworks displays in the nation on the 4th of July. The coast (Seaside, OR) is 1 1/2 hours away. Mt. Hood has snow year-round (on part of the mountain), and is 1 1/2 hours away.

Who We Are:
We are Steve and Connie - both 55. Steve is retired from a steel company and cares for a retarded citizen (who would be in respite care while we are on vacation). Connie works as a middle school Title 1 reading teacher. We have 5 children in their 20's, and we attend an evangelical church.
