Blue Ridge: Lovely log chalet in the beautiful mountains of Blue Ridge Georgia
Home Description:
We set high in the beautiful mountains of Blue Ridge Georgia. Our Chalet is just 1 1/2 yrs. old, it is on three floors. The upper level is the master suite with large bathroom, spa tub and separate shower, also there is a screened-in porch with mountain view. The main level consists of a bedroom, large bathroom, laundry, kitchen, dining area and living room with floor to ceiling fireplace. On the main level there is a big open porch with mountain view. The lower level is the family room with large screen TV, DVD, & video, there is a den with treadmill and comfortable futon and full bathroom. There is a deck that leads to a gently sloping wilderness yard, there is a barbecue grill on the deck. We in a restricted subdivision, all new log cabins and chalet's in the area, ours is very secluded, down a long paved driveway.
The Area:
There is much to do in the area but it's a very laid back environment. The town of Blue Ridge is very quaint with many antique shops, nice antique's, and many other shops and deli's & restaurant's written up in Southern Living Magazine. There is a scenic train ride through the mountains, a beautiful lake close to town, white water rafting and tubing close-by as well as horseback riding. Most churches are represented here.
Other Particulars:
No smoking inside chalet, please. A small dog would be accepted if housebroken.
Our Preferred Destination:
Our location preference would be the west coast of south Florida.
Dates of Exchange:
The first two weeks in July. The months of Jan. thru April.
Who We Are:
We are Olen and Glenna Goodwin, retired since 1980 from retail furniture business. Won't give our ages but just say we are ancient! We have a little Shih Tzu which we would want to bring with us. He is totally housebroken and a delight. We are christian and enjoy our life in the Lord Jesus.
