Cox (Alicante Province): 3 bedroom modern terraced house with 2 lounges, large kitchen set in a typical small Spanish agricultural town.

Home Description:
Our house is quite new and has 3 bedrooms, ironing room, office, 2 lounges, garage, balconies, no garden. 1 ensuite bathroom, 2 shower rooms, laundry room with dryer. There is an extensive library of novels, documentaries....a bit of everything. We also have a good DVD collection with romance, children’s & Star Trek films. 24 hour broadband internet connection. A big American style fridge which dishes out cold water & cubes, a kitchen/dinner.

The Area:
The town is called Cox which is in the south of Alicante province, 30 min from the airport on the motorway; we are also 30 min to the coast. The town is small, very Spanish with very few English, I could leave a number of an English couple in case of emergency. There are a few public pools around which are quite nice to visit. They have restaurants, etc. We are close to Alicante city Murcia City, Elche city & only 10 min. to Orihuela city. Torrevieja is on the coast where you can find British bars & fish & chips, etc; there is no shortage of beaches. If you are into culture, this area is steeped in history & our village was liberated El Cid. We have an open market on Mondays, a libary (Spanish), Cultural events, fiestas all year around. There is a safari park 30 min. drive, water park in Torrevieja & one in Benidorm, Cinemas & much more close by. the Restaurants in the town are reasonably priced but not cheap; the food is excellent.

Other Particulars:
There is a wood burning stove in the house, hot and cold A/C, Computer, video & DVD, no pets, but we do have plants & would appreciate it if our guests could water them. We are Non Smokers & would request smokers to do so on the balconies. There is a dish washer, microwave and oven.

Our Preferred Destination:
Southern England, Scandinavia, anywhere with a garden

Who We Are:
I, Patrick am 42 years old (still a kid ), co-pastor of a small Spanish Christian fellowship. I work in real estate & development. My wife Inés is 33 & works with me. We have 3 children, Jessica 5, Rubén 3, & Joshua 1. I enjoy Sci-fi films; my wife romance... we have 2 televisions.
