Sioux Falls: Wonderful 4 bedroom home, nestled in the heart of the midwest, parks galore
Home Description:
Our home is a 2-story bungalow; stucco house built in 1919. We have 4 bedrooms, queen size beds in all except one double, plus 1 & 1/2 baths. We have hardwood floors throughout the downstairs, a complete kitchen and very up-to-date laundry room. We have cable TV, VCR, DVD and patio area with barbecue. The front porch is enclosed with all windows on 3 sides and contains the office area with computer. There are also two other buildings on our property, a very quaint wood workshop and garage. I enjoy gardening and taking care of many trees & lovely perennials in the yard.
The Area:
We live on historic Phillips Avenue which eventually will take you into downtown Sioux Falls and on to Falls Park. We are within sight of the oldest park in town, McKennan Park, which has mature trees and flower beds, sunken garden, swimming pool, and the old bandshell. Sioux Falls is known for all the beautiful parks and biking/walking trail which follows the river all around the city. There are many very good mainline churches plus many smaller evangelical ones.
Other Particulars:
Our large yard has a wonderful brick patio with a brand new gas grill, a large comfy swing, plus a firepit which has burned many marshmallows and hotdogs. Piano in front porch, one bike available, computer/email access, washer/dryer; no smoking. We also have a 1935 Ford Pickup which has regular license plates for fair-weather driving.

Who We Are:
We have lived in this home 15 years, which Tim is constantly improving. He works with computers and system design and so relaxes with the challenge of woodworking, remodeling, and "inventing". I recently decided to stay at home in order to partner in ministry with volunteer opportunities at our church. It is a God-honoring congregation and the decision has been awesome. Our daughters are grown and we have opportunities now to travel. We would love to get to know you and do an exchange!
