Solihull (Birmingham), West Midlands: Four bedroom home in semi-rural central England
Home Description:
Our house is a semi-detached four bedroom home and can comfortably sleep five people. It is comfortable and homey. We have a garden with summer house, patio and barcecue. There is also a conservatory, 1 bathroom and a downstairs WC. We have two computers both with broadband internet access.
The Area:
We are located 12 miles South of Birmingham close to the town of Solihull. We are just 20 minutes drive from Stratford upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare. Other nearby historic towns include Worcester and Warwick. We are in a lovely location on the edge of a small village called Earlswood, situated between two lakes, both of which are just 100 metres away. There are some lovely walks in the vicinity. We are also in the very centre of England, close to the motorway network. We are in quite a rural position so a car would be a very good idea! We are quite happy to arrange a car swap. Although we live in a lovely rural position, we are just 20km (train ride) from Birmingham, England's second city which is a modern city with excellent shopping and entertainment facilities including restaurants and theatres.
You can see some photos of Earlswood by following this link: http://www.virtualbrum.co.uk/earlswood.htm
Other Particulars:
We are willing to exchange cars. Because we live in a rural location a car really is needed. We do not smoke and would prefer to exchange with people who can respect this. The airport is only 20 minutes from our house. We can arrange to have someone meet exchanger on arrival. We have two lovely cats, Holly and Smudge. We would prefer exchanging with someone who could feed them but we could board them elsewhere if necessary.
Our Preferred Destination:
We would like to go to the USA, but really are open to offers and will consider anywhere!! We have never exchanged homes before and are very excited! We have 2 very well behaved children and promise to take the very best care of your home.
Dates of Exchange:
We need to go in our school holidays so anytime between Mid-July to end-August.
Who We Are:
We are Pam and Andrew, two primary school teachers. Our children are Becky (13) and Joe (11). Two cats (Holly and Smudge) complete our family. We have never house swapped before and are very excited at the prospect!! We would like to travel to the USA but really are open to offers and will consider anything! We promise to take really good care of your house!
We look forward to hearing from you!
