Home Description:
Our high set timber home has 3 bedrooms, one queen, one double and one single. There is also a large downstairs room which has two single beds.
Our home is tastefully decorated and has some antique furniture. There is a large swimming pool surrounded by a deck and lovely tropical gardens. There is polished floors in the main part of the house and carpet in the bedrooms.
The Area:
Manly is a bayside suburb of Brisbane and only 45 min. to the Gold Coast and 75 min. to the Sunshine Coast. A glimpse of Moreton Bay can be seen from the large lounge room window. The esplanade is 15-20 min. walk away and from there a lovely flat walking/riding path which runs for 7 kilometres right beside the water. It's only about a 7 min. walk to the Manly rail station and only a 35 min. ride into the centre of Brisbane. The Wynnum Golf Club is a 5 min. drive away.
Other Particulars:
We are willing and would like to exchange cars. Our car is a 1998 Honda Accord kept in excellent condition. We have two bicycles available and a small caravan which can be used while exploring our beautiful country. The caravan is a 1984 model but it too is in excellent condition and has been lovingly cared for. It's decorated in retro style.

Who We Are:
Barry is a lawyer with the Queensland Government and drafts legislation. He is looking forward to retiring maybe this year. His interests are bike riding, surfing, gardening and music. He has enjoyed leading worship in the Baptist Church in the past. He also loves taking our Labradoodle, Angus for long walks! Angus will be having his own holiday while we are away. Margaret loves reading, movies, cooking, ebaying and swimming. She is a service assistant in a large department store and loves her job! In the past she has been involved in ladies ministries, craft groups and Girls' Brigade.
