There are craft shows, a Jazz and a Folk Festival during the summer months, and several churches from which to choose. We are at 3200 feet elevation, the weather tends to be quite dry, not too hot in summer, some snow in winter. Ski areas are 20 minutes and 45 minutes away. Hiking is available all around. There are many beautiful waterfalls, rivers, lakes and mountain peaks nearby. Crater Lake national park is about an hour and a half. Bend is a nearby city, the largest in Central Oregon.
